About "K'Ehleyr"
K’Ehleyr (pronounced KAY-lar) is named after a Star Trek female character who is
half-human, half-Klingon (a spirited, proud, fierce warrior race) but
embodies the best traits of the two races. She certainly lives up to
the Klingon side of her namesake. She does everything with a great deal
of focus, spirit, and passion. Her registered name is Int’l CH Lexxus’

K'Ehleyr's Birthday: October 16, 1998
K’Ehleyr is a moderate size female. She stands 21″ at the withers, and weighs approximately 65 lbs. She is honey-gold in color. She is eager, alert, sweet, and showy. K’Ehleyr has full dentition with a correct scissors bite. She has a pretty head with soft expression, and jet-black pigment that doesn’t change in the winter.
K’Ehleyr has a nice, fluid side gait with decent reach and drive. She moves slightly wide coming towards you but is clean going away.
K’Ehleyr loves people, swimming, treats, and bossing around our other Goldens. She has an iron constitution and is not prone to hot spots. She was spayed at 3 1/2 years of age due to some temperament issues with other dogs, and a mild heart murmur believed to be SAS.
K’Ehleyr earned her NAJ (Novice Agility Jumpers) title in her first two weekends of trials with two first places and a second place. She earned her NA (Novice Agility Standard) title not long after that! In Open, things moved quickly as she achieved her OA with placements in 3 (out of 3) runs, then her OAJ (Open Agility Jumpers) title some time after that. She is retired from competition and enjoys her status as resident couch potato. :-)
