“Sporty” is an outstanding representative of the breed. Structurally, she has beautiful angles, solid topline, good depth of body, and correct coat. She demonstrates superb movement, and has 3 generations of outstanding movers behind her. She is an athletic, natural, birdy retriever who learns quickly, and loves to work. She “sparkles” with intelligence and energy. Her temperament is sound, and she behaves appropriately with children, puppies, and other dogs.

Sport finished her Junior Hunter title in 3 weekends of tests. It was a first for both of us and lots of fun. We miss the camaraderie at the tests and are currently training to go on to Senior (when we’re not competing in agility trials!).

Sporty qualified for the GRCA Triathlon Award at the 2007 GRCA National when she earned her WC (Working Certificate) in field, earned a leg toward her NAJ with a 2nd place, and won the Novice Bitch class. It was our goal for the National and a thrill to achieve.
Sport has obtained all her health clearances (hips (OFA Good), elbows, eye, and heart).
